Terms of Use

Approved by order N 31082021 of the Executive Director of Teach For Armenia Educational Foundation dated 31.08.2021.

1. These terms of use (hereinafter: Terms) set forth the rules for the use of materials posted on the teachforarmenia.org website (hereinafter: Website).

2. The exclusive property rights of all materials, including but not only graphics, videos, images, texts etc. (hereinafter: Material/s) posted on Website belong to the Teach For Armenia Educational Foundation (hereinafter: Foundation).

3. By accessing and using the Website, you agree to the Terms. Terms are binding for everyone, regardless of the individual contract.

4. Any use of Materials (in whole or in part) posted on the Website or related rights is illegal unless such permission of use has been obtained from the Foundation.

5. Author's materials express only the opinion of the author; they may not coincide with the opinion of Teach For Armenia Educational Foundation.

6. Use includes the reproduction, distribution, translation, processing and other forms not in conflict with the RA legislation.

7. For any reproduction of materials (partly: approximately 40 percent of use or extracts from Materials), a link to the Website is required. For making a link it is mandatory to post an active link to the relevant page of the Website. The existence of a link does not imply endorsement by the Foundation of any such site, person or material.

8. To obtain permission to use the Materials (complete or more than half), you need to contact the Foundation by info@teachforarmenia.org e-mail or postal service and clearly state: material and link, objective/s of use, and contacts.

Permission to use Material is considered issued when such permission is received by the Foundation through written consent. Foundation has the right to request a specific amount of use and conditions, which will be specified in the reply letter.

9. Print users are required to cite the source when using the Materials, and electronic users must cite Materials by actively linking to the relevant page of the Website. The active link should be obvious and not hidden in lines or letters.

10. It is forbidden to make changes to the Material during the reproduction and/or other use of Material.

11. A person who does not comply with the requirements of Terms or the RA legislation is considered a violator of copyright or related rights and is liable in accordance with RA legislation.

12. Distortion of the meaning of the material, change in any amount and quantity or presentation out of context may lead to liability under RA legislation.

13. In the event of a breach of any provision of Terms, the Foundation has the right to defend its rights and legitimate interests through any legal means, including judicial action.

14. The Foundation is not responsible for the interpretation, use or analysis of any Material by anyone.

15. The Foundation reserves the right to amend and/or supplement Terms at any time. Each time you use the Material, you become aware of and agree to the latest changes to Terms.

16. All issues and disputes related to the visit to Website and its use are regulated by RA legislation.

17. Disputes are resolved through negotiations within a maximum of one month; in case of failure to reach an agreement, disputes are resolved in a judicial procedure established by RA legislation.

18. The rules are in two languages: Armenian and English. In case of any discrepancies between the texts, Armenian shall prevail.
