They are Armenia’s brightest graduates and emerging professionals who make a deliberate choice: to commit two years of their lives to serving children and communities that have been historically under-resourced. They come from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, but they share a common belief, that education is a national responsibility, and leadership begins with service.
Our Teacher-Leaders teach full-time in public schools across Armenia, often in rural or border communities. They take on the hardest classrooms, work under real constraints, and hold themselves to high standards of excellence and accountability. Beyond delivering curriculum, they build trust with students, families, and school communities, creating learning environments where children are challenged, supported, and seen.
Through rigorous training, ongoing coaching, and lived experience, Teacher-Leaders develop the skills and judgment required of future leaders. They leave the classroom not only as stronger educators, but as citizens with a deep understanding of Armenia’s systems, inequities, and possibilities.
