The Mental Arithmetic Expands Across Regions initiative stands as a powerful example of grassroots impact driven by Teach For Armenia’s growing community of Alumni-Ambassadors. By connecting second-year Teacher-Leaders with Alumni-Ambassadors trained in mental arithmetic coaching, the program creates lasting educational pathways in underserved communities across Armenia.
Students Reached
Over two years, more than 100 students across Armenian regions have participated in the mental arithmetic program, gaining skills that boost academic confidence and cognitive development.
Four Alumni-Ambassadors specializing in mental arithmetic launched the initiative, bringing their expertise to regional communities.
Second-year Teacher-Leaders gained a new professional development pathway by training as mental arithmetic coaches under Ambassador guidance.
