School libraries replenished per month
The initiative has already replenished dozens of school libraries with books, and since January 2023, it has been implemented through cooperation with Teach For Armenia. The founder of the "Books for Hope" organization, Talin, visited the communities of Drakhtik, Jil, and Shoghakat to personally hand over the long-awaited books to the recipients.
The goal of the Books for Hope organization is to provide schools in the border communities of Armenia with books that will replenish school libraries. We want students to have the opportunity to get acquainted with fiction and world literature. As part of the initiative, we are collaborating with the [Oxford Armenia Foundation](https://www.facebook.com/OxArmFdn), with whom we bring our idea to life through fundraising. Our partner is also the Teach For Armenia Educational Foundation, which chooses the school where our books are sent every month. The Teacher-Leaders of Teach For Armenia also provide excellent collaboration. It is my sincere hope that this partnership will continue, supplying our communities with much-needed books.
Children were already waiting in the unique "Gradarak" room, a modern library created by a Teach For Armenia Alumni-Ambassador in hard-to-reach rural communities.
Attended a biology lesson under the guidance of a Teach For Armenia Teacher-Leader, witnessing the integration of books into daily learning.
Just meters from the shores of Lake Sevan, high school students eagerly discussed their favorite writers, literature, and school life.
Most of the books were chosen by students in accordance with their preferences, and they greeted the visitors with great enthusiasm and shining eyes.
The high school students of Shoghakat School were looking forward to our visit, especially the books. We talked about our favorite writers, favorite literature, school life, and many other topics.

This important initiative promotes the development of a love of reading in students and gives them the opportunity for self-education and development. The collaboration between Books for Hope and Teach For Armenia will continue, ensuring that every month, schools in various communities in Armenia receive new books that enrich their libraries and open new doors for students.
On August 10th, I was able to witness what Teach For Armenia has done for the students all over Armenia by visiting Shenavan Basic School in the mountains of Lori.
