Backgrounds differ. Commitment does not.
Teaching in a village school changed everything I thought I knew about leadership. Real leadership isn't about authority — it's about showing up every day for people who count on you.
Cohort XII Teacher-Leader
Take the first step toward becoming a teacher-leader who transforms communities.
We invest in Teacher-Leaders as professionals, not temporary volunteers.
The program includes:
A Master's in Teacher Leadership for participants who need certification or advanced training.
Ensuring Teacher-Leaders meet national professional standards.
So growth continues through both years, not just at the beginning.
And the investment continues beyond the classroom. Teach For Armenia alumni are qualified and often preferred candidates for leadership roles across the broader Armenia Education Initiative ecosystem—including Seroond, Káits, Public Policy work, and other AEI initiatives—because they bring proven field experience, systems understanding, and a deeply internalized commitment to educational justice.
We do this because Armenia doesn't need more good intentions. It needs competence, craft, and leaders who can deliver.
We invest in competence—not just passion.
